How To Apply Foundation.
Firstly to ensure you base make-up looks flawless you will need to start with a clean face. Cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturise.
The better you look after your skin, the better it will look and the longer you foundation will stay looking good throughout the day.
It is best to leave your moisturiser to be properly absorbed into the skin before applying foundation, i would recommend you leave it to soak in for at least 5-10 minutes, this will also help keep your foundation looking fresher for longer.
Apply a small amount of foundation to the cheeks, forehead, chin and nose.
Blend upwards, outwards and to finish tap the skin with two fingers all over, this will ensure a natural looking finish.
I think the trick to a lasting foundation is to blend as much as possible and try to 'build' foundation in fine layers.
After you have applied the required amount of foundation use a creamy concealer on areas such as around the nose, eyes and mouth, again its best to dab small amounts gently to these areas.
Apply a transcluscent loose powder all over and lastly blusher to the apples of your cheeks and a little on the temples.
I prefer to use a liquid foundation and a fairly thick creamy concealer with yellow tones.
Duksy pink blushers suit most people but if you are unsure pick a blusher that is the same colour as your skin is when naturally flushed.
Loose, transclucent powder is best as the colours suits most and as it is a fine consistency is wont look too heavy.
